Published quarterly in March, June, September and December, ESI Europe is distributed to over 5000 decision makers within the European T&D industry, providing information and updates on innovations and product developments.
ESI Europe
The magazine for the European power industry
The European power industry is facing momentous changes, challenges and increased competition.
ESI Europe provides expert information, comments and news on developments in the European power market. It will examine issues critical to Europe, such as liberalisation of power markets, distribution issues, cross border trading and co-operation between countries. The magazine aims to inform decision-makers on developments in the European power market and provide them with access to opportunities and services related to their industry.
The only magazine aimed solely at the European electricity market, ESI Europe will feature editorial on a variety of issues pertinent to the region. In addition to the provision and distribution of energy to end-users, the editorial will provide information on various aspects of energy use, such as demand side management (DSM), energy efficiency and policy issues that will affect the continent. Regional features and profiles on countries and utilities provide an overall view of the use of power in Europe and serve to encourage information sharing amongst utilities and countries.
The editorial panel of ESI Europe is made up of prominent members of the power industry, who offer advice and guidance on editorial policy and content, including:
- Prof. Diana Urge-Vorsatz - Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy, Central European University, Hungary
- Prof. Ronnie Belmans - President, International Union for Electricity Applications (UIE), France
- Andrew Warren - Director, Association for the Conservation of Energy, UK
- Dr. Paolo Bertoldi - European Commission, Italy
- Martin den Blanken - NUON Energysourcing / Monitoring & Forecasting, The Netherlands
- Carlos Solé Martin - Electric Energy Director, National Energy Commission, Spain
Editorial content aims to provide coverage of all sectors of the industry, while bearing in mind the unique characteristics of each regional industry in relation to the directives of the European Union.
ESI Europe provides regular updates and information to a dynamic and ever-changing industry.
